Hey there.

I'm talking about online short films.

What are the best you've seen? Sure there is all kinds of **** online. But what's the best of the best?

One of my personal faves is a short called

THE BODY

It's well made, pretty funny and looks great.

It looks like they had a decent crew and spent a few quid on it.

On the other end of the scale is THE BATTERY

Shot for nothing by one guy on his own in his bedroom. Great editing, great sound design and all in under a minute.

It's generally pretty difficult finding really *great* internet films. But, here are my personal faves-

Troops - the original Star Wars fanfilm

405TheMovie - some good compositing

And then pretty much anything by Evan Mather

I haven't yet come across an internet movie that I think spins a *really good* yarn. Most are like demos and showreel pieces IMO.

And I nearly forgot - S-11 Redux: Channel Surfing the Apocalypse

there was one really good one I saw a long time ago. Can't remember where I got it or what it was called though.

I'll try to find it, because if I dont, this post will be really pointless.

Ok, it was about all kinds of people sitting around like in a talking group. And the ending was a very cool twist.
